Sun, sea and a relaxed environment! If you want to enjoy a wonderful vacation on a tropical island and stay for a reasonable price, close to your JW-family in a safe gated location, then our apartment is for you! Our apartment is located on the Dutch side of the island of Sint Maarten. It is close to the sea, (10 minutes walk), overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and is fully equipped, has its own parking and private terrace. Because of the peaceful area, you can fully relax and feel refreshed.

Description
The Space
The apartment is located in a gated community, a very nice, green and quiet area. It is fully equipped. Has its own terrace and parking. Our apartment has 1 bedroom, living room/kitchen/dining room, bathroom with hot water shower and a terrace with a beautiful view of the sea.
The apartment has one separate bedroom with a king size (180 x 200) bed, kitchen with all amenities including a washing machine, tv, airconditioning in both the bedroom and the living room. It has a nice comfortable porch and view of the sea.
Towels, beach towels and beddings are also available.

Our house is located next to the apartment so feel free to let us know if you need any help. The KH is located 20 minutes away. But we can direct you or show you where it is. Of course you can also join us for field service or other congregation activities.
Other Things to Note
The nice thing about Sint Maarten is that there are plenty of beaches to choose from. We recommend Divi Little Bay, Orient Bay on the French side, or Mullet Bay, close to the airport. Sint Maarten is nice for snorkeling and diving. If you have the time, though, a snorkeling trip in Anguilla or a diving trip in Saba is highly recommended.
In Sint Maarten, there are plenty of choice in restaurants, and you will find a variety of cuisines on the island. We can recommend plenty of good restaurants on the island.
We love the area where we live because it is nice and quiet. So it's like we ourselves are on a vacation after a long day of work.
We do recommend our guests to rent a vehicle to get around. Parking is also available for your rental car on the premises.
We deliver our apartment clean, so we would like our guests also to keep it clean.
We do love to meet people from all over the world. So come to Sint Maarten. The friendly island :) You will enjoy your vacation!

The Neighborhood
The beach is close by. 5 minutes by car, but it’s also at walking distance.
We live in a very nice, quiet area, surrounded by green hills, with a nice ocean view. Because of all the greenery it’s common that you see a monkey or iguana close by.
Getting Around
It is recommended to rent a car. There are no buses in this area
Where we live is behind a hill, close to the sea. So there is no public transportation to this area although we can reach town within 10 minutes. Renting a car on St . Maarten is highly recommended as public transportation on the island is limited.
A car is alo especially handy to go to the Kingdom Hall (15 to 20:minutes driving distance) and fieldservice.

Joined in Nov 2023We live and serve in the beautiful island Sint Maarten (Caribbean). We love to preach in Sint Maarten. The people listen and are very religious which is a big contrast with preaching in the Netherlands. Its nice to work on the boardwalk with the cart while enjoying the beautiful view of sand and sea, meeting friends from all over the world. For leisure we are simple. Marco loves just being at home and relax while working on a project, building something or watching football and other sports. And Tina loves doing some gardening, walking to the beach, dance or enjoy others company at gatherings with the friends. For assemblies or convention we love to have friends over from the other islands and enjoy getting to know them better. When traveling we love to enjoy nature by walking or hiking. And visit places that are not available on a small island, like museums, zoo’s, entertainment parks and big shopping malls. As guests we are of course clean and quiet. We will take care of your place as our house. We also host, so we love for our guests to do the same as well when they stay by us. Math 7:12
