Welcome to our 980 sq ft 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment with huge bedroom, living room, and kitchen! The large sectional can sleep two people separate or together. We also have a blow up mattress, plenty of blankets, pillows, and closet space for storage. You’ll have your own walk out sliding door and parking space.
Please note: bathroom is accessed through the bedroom. Washer/Dryer is available 1 time per visit with pre-arranging, as you have to access it through the garage

Description
The Space
The apartment is quite spacious. The kitchen is large with all the things needed to make meals and have nice meals around the kitchen table. We have a wonderful coffee maker with milk frother and many flavored syrups for the morning, and wine and chocolates for those who wish to have a sweet treat in the evenings. There are oils, spices, and other snacks your welcome to use. We leave enough toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, soap, shampoo and condition for most trips. If you run out Target and Walmart are 10-12 minutes away. The living room is large and the couch can be left as an L shape for two to sleep separate, or be made into a large queen bed for couples. Many people LOVE both the bed and the couch. We've even been asked where we got it all :) The electric fire place keeps in nice and warm, and there is a fan and air purifier for those who would like to use it.
Guest Access
Access is to the right hand side of the house. You will have you own driveway on the right side that you can drive all the way down to the basement entrance. There are 7 steps to go down into the apartment, with a handrail.
Interaction with Guests
The main part of the house is housed by two of our daughters who commute to bethel along with their two friends/roommates, who are also commuters. On the left hand side of the house there is another 1 bedroom apartment that two commuter sisters live in. They are all busy and come and go, but if you need anything numbers will be provided.
Please note, since this is a house with multiple occupants we have quite hours of 10pm to 7am Monday-Friday and 11pm-8am Saturday and Sunday.
The Neighborhood
Our neighborhood is quiet and so peaceful. Our cul de sac only has 3 houses on it. Our neighbor across the street has dogs, chickens, sheep, goats, and 5 children. They are very nice. Our other neighbors are an older retired NYPD couple who we rarely seen, but they are very nice.
Getting Around
Newburgh has a lot of restaurants, grocery stores, and other necessities...including a Starbucks! Hudson Taco, Billy Joes Ribworks, and Beso Taco are some of our favorites. You can also have instcart deliver straight to the house.Newburgh Assembly hall is only 12 minutes away, and the closest KH is only 3 minutes away with the Fostertown Congregation and North Newburgh. But there are many more halls all within a small distance.
Wallkill is the closest complex at 20-25 minutes away, Warwick is 35 minutes, and Patterson is 45-50 making this a great central location!

Joined in Apr 2024My husband and I have 5 children. We’ve live in between San Diego and Mexico while they were growing up. But when our oldest 3 all went to Bethel we decided it was time to get a house near them too. We love the area of Newburgh we’re in due to its close proximity to all the sites, restaurants, stores, etc. We hope you love our home as much as we do!
