The Neighborhood
The Buena Vista Kingdom Hall is located in the same town and is less than 5 minutes drive.
Getting Around
You will need a 4x4 vehicle to get around town, to the local beaches, waterfalls, drive into Samara through the shallow river (Nov - April) or take the longer way through San Fernando or head Nosara way. Day trips from our property are amazing!

Joined in Dec 2025We live in beautiful British Columbia, Canada and are part of the Invermere congregation in the Kootenays. But we spend as much time as possible at our 2nd home in Samara, Guanacaste, Costa Rica with the lovely Buena Vista congregation. We absolutely love Costa Rica for its natural beauty (constantly reminds of our amazing Creator!) the variety of flora & fauna (little taste of paradise), the slower pace of life and the warm & loving friends. We have always looked for ways to expand our service to Jehovah and this home has given us the opportunity to do just that! We would love to share our home with you, but also the joy that we experience getting to know our dear brothers and sisters in the Samara area and speaking to others about Bible truths and our hope to locals (Ticos) that have a great appreciation for nature and our Creator. We have been learning Spanish for the last few years to help as much as possible when we are there. And when we are in Invermere, BC we stay busy with our family, friends & congregation. Great news... we are assigned to the international convention in Calgary Summer 2026 that will certainly be a major spiritual milestone!
