The Space
Our guest house is 300 meters above sea level in the green north of Tenerife with a view of Teide, the northwest coast and the Atlantic.
The property is located in the quiet district "El Puntillo del Sol". It consists of a terraced house for up to 5 people.
A 25 m² roof terrace offers space for sunbathing and a view over the city of Puerto de la Cruz to the highest mountain in Spain, the Teide.
On the ground floor there is the bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with toilet, bath and shower.
A few steps higher you reach the living room, which is open plan. On the sofa is another sleeping space for 2 people.
The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker etc.
There is also a small terrace where you can have your breakfast.
On the upper floor there is a gallery with a bed for one person and a bathroom with a toilet and a comfortable shower.
In front of the house you can sit comfortably together in the garden. A barbecue is available.
A parking space for the car is directly in front of the portal to the holiday home.
On the property next door is the spacious holiday home with a swimming pool.
Unser Gästehaus liegt auf 300 Meter Höhe über dem Meer im grünen Norden von Teneriffa mit Blick zum Teide, über die Nordwestküste und den Atlantik.
Das Grundstück befindet sich im ruhig gelegenen Ortsteil "El Puntillo del Sol". Es besteht aus einem Reihenhaus für bis zu 5 Personen.
Eine 25 m² Dachterrasse bietet Platz zum Sonnenbaden und einen Blick über die Stadt Puerto de la Cruz bis zum höchsten Berg Spaniens, dem Teide.
Im Erdgeschoss befinden sich das Schlafzimmer mit einem Doppelbett und ein Bad mit WC, Badewanne und Dusche.
Ein paar Stufen höher gelangt man zum Wohnraum, der offen gestaltet ist. Auf dem Sofa ist ein weiterer Schlafplatz für 2 Personen.
Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet mit Herd, Backofen, Mikrowelle, Toaster, Kaffeemaschine usw.
Hier ist auch eine kleine Terrasse, auf der man sein Frühstück einnehmen kann.
Im Obergeschoss befindet sich eine Galerie mit einem Bett für eine Person und ein Bad mit WC und komfortabler Dusche.
Vor dem Haus kann man im Garten gemütlich beisammen sitzen. Ein Grill steht zur Verfügung.
Ein Parkplatz für das Auto ist direkt vor dem Portal zum Ferienhaus.
Auf dem Grundstück nebenan befindet sich das großzügige Ferienhaus mit Swimmingpool.

The apartment house has an entrance and a closed apartment. The garden is shared, as is the washroom.
Das Appartmenthaus verfügt über einen einen Eingang und eine abgeschlossene Wohnung. Der Garten wird gemeinschaftlich genutzt, ebenso der Waschraum.

The Neighborhood
The landscape around La Matanza is characterized by lush vegetation, as the region is extremely fertile. No wonder that the main source of income for the residents is agriculture. Wine and bananas thrive here almost by themselves. The excellent wines can be tasted in the surrounding bodegas.
Die Landschaft um La Matanza ist von einer üppigen Vegetation geprägt, da die Region äußerst fruchtbar ist. Kein Wunder, dass die Haupteinkommensquelle der Einwohner in der Landwirtschaft liegt. Wein und Bananen gedeihen hier fast von selbst. Die hervorragenden Weine kann man in den umliegenden Bodegas probieren.

Joined in Apr 2022My name is Uwe Meerwald. I was born in 1962, was baptized in 1975. I live in Tenerife since September 2018. My wife and I moved here to the north of the Canary Islands to do more for Jehovah. In the meantime, the small group in Puerto de la Cruz has grown into a German-speaking congregation. I like to ride my motorbike, I like to swim in the sea and I like to hike and enjoy the sun and the beautiful views in the mountains. I look forward to welcoming new guests to the largest and most diverse Canary Island.
